The mounting points provided are not strong enough to hold the load of a top box, and the nuts supplied have broken due to poor material quality. This raises serious concerns about durability and safety, especially for touring purposes.

The carrier is neatly built & mounting is satisfactory. However, the complete load of the carrier & the mounted luggage system will be taken up by the square plate screwed in place at the grab rails mountings. But there is hardly any metal material on top of the mounting holes of the mounting plate of the carrier. This is the weakest part & likely to fail at the earliest. Also as there is no mounting support to the carrier midway, all the pivot load will be felt at the rear mounting hole, which as discussed earlier, has a few mm of material on top, which is a cause for concern. Otherwise the product is neatly designed & feels sturdy.
Another issue is that the carrier plate doesn't have many cut through places to mount the baseplate of the luggage system like Givi or SHAD. So you will need to drill holes on the carrier plate.
